Sheila Filbin, 67, of South Charleston, passed away suddenly at her residence on May 3, 2023.
She was born on March 16, 1956. Upon graduation from high school, she went to the University of Charleston and obtained her degree in Registered Nursing. Sheila's 35-year professional career included obtaining her RNFA certification, working with plastic surgeon Ted Jackson, M.D., and working in CAMC's surgery department.
Sheila was always helping people in both her work and home, and she never met a stranger. She was always kind, loving, and devoted to her family, especially her babies (dogs), whom she loved immensely. Sheila had the heart of an angel.
Sheila was preceded in death by her son, Scott Jeremy Wallace. She is survived by her sister, Leah Abel; daughter, Michelle Adams (Tim); niece, Isabella Abel; grandchildren, Jada Adams and Tristin Adams; uncle, Mike Pauley; aunt, Andrea Holmes (Dick); sisters, Pamela Brun (Erich) and Rhonda Pauley; grandchildren, Tyler Wallace, Kyle Wallace, and Kylie Wallace; and a great granddaughter, Jasmine Davis.
A service to Honor the Life of Sheila will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2023, at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston. Friends may visit from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
