Shaunika Crockett Thomas, 40, went over the rainbow bridge Sunday, July 17, 2022. She leaves behind her two daughters Zayda and Vaden, who were her clones and best friends! Shaunika was born on June 25, 1982, in Wytheville, Va. She was a warrior in the truest sense with her brave battle with lupus that caused her to be paralyzed five years ago. But she didn't let that stop her from embracing what she loved. She is the strongest and smartest person we have ever known, she loves all things spooky, she was heavily involved in the jeep community. She has her own jeep club that handles local Charities, she loves to dance music was her release when you seen her dance her soul was HAPPY!! She was smart and beautiful and loved her children, family and friends around her. Left to cherish her memory are her two beautiful children, Zayda and Vaden Thomas; her hubby wubby, Jeremiah Thomas; parents, William and Pamela Crockett; and her sister, Nikysha Brown. Extended Family Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Aibria Jones, Lana Hughes and Elisabeth Phillips. Arrangements: A celebration of life will be held Friday July 22, at Cornerstone Church in Salisbury, NC from 5:30-7. The family is also accepting visitors at home.
