Sharon Inez Schneider was born March 8, 1941 in Franklin, NE. She had been a resident of Quitman for 28 years, formerly living in Dallas. She was a member of Liberty Methodist Church of Quitman. She loved to bake and sew and in earlier years, won a high-placed ribbon in baking at the Texas State Fair.
Sharon passed away at the age of 82 on December 28, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Brian Schneider; daughter, Melinda Ann; parents, Ernest Harold Monie and Minnie Louise Kennedy Monie; sister, Norma Monie; and brothers, Keith, Gordon, Quinten, Ernest W., Walter, Johnny, and Gary Monie.
Survivors include her two daughters, Lisa Schneider and Rhonda Ziegler and husband, Mitch; sister, Shirley Lennemann and husband, Robert; sister-in-law, Bonnie Monie; two grandchildren, Johnathan Higginbotham and Megan Ziegler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
