She attended U of M Morris. She married her high school sweetheart, Dennis, on Feb 23, 1963. Dennis was in the US Air Force and they moved to Albuquerque, NM. She was on the Board of Realtors & Le Sueur Hospital Board, a member of the Le Sueur Economic Development Authority and very active in the Le Sueur Chamber of Commerce and various community projects.
Sharon travelled throughout Europe, Canada, Mexico and the United States. One of her favorite memories is dinner and the Opera at the Lincoln Center in New York City. In addition to satisfying the needs of her customers at Ross Realty, her passion for staging homes using Feng Shui, a Chinese art of placement, was apparent when she traveled to China to further her knowledge of Feng Shui. Sharon also enjoyed playing golf and bridge, tending to her flower gardens, attending theater and symphonies. She had a lifetime joy of music and she loved being part of the First Lutheran Church choir. More recently, every evening she would watch the Andre Rieu concerts and hum to every song.
Her retirement years took her to Trilogy Golf Resort in Gilbert Arizona. She loved the Arizona winter climate. Sharon suffered a stroke in December of 2018 which brought her back to her beloved home in Le Sueur on Ridge Road.
