Ms. Sharon Denise “Moochie” Neal, age 59, of Portland, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 17th, 2022 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 19th, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, July 20th, 2022 from 6:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with burial to follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, KY.
Moochie was born on July 3, 1963 in Franklin, KY to the late, Wilma Jean Neal.
She is survived by 2 brothers, James Neal of Portland, TN and Larry Neal of Portland, TN; several nieces and nephews; cousin, Pat Long-Hodges; cousin, Shirley Knight, cousin, Donna Burgett, and many other cousins.
Moochie was a graduate of Portland High School. She was a bartender at Jen’s Place. Moochie enjoyed to go fishing, camping, attend cookouts, socialize and play pool.
