Sharon L. Kendle

Sharon Lee Kendle, 80 years old of Edwardsburg, passed to her rest May 23, 2024 at home after an illness. She was born May 15, 1944 in Niles and lived most of her life in Edwardsburg, graduating from Edwardsburg High School in 1962. She worked for 34 years in the RV Industry doing office work in bookkeeping. Then she obtained an Associate Degree in accounting to continue that work. Later she was the Librarian for the Edwardsburg Library.

Sharon lost her parents, Standard Phillips and Grace Eilizabeth (Warburton) Phillips. In her first marriage she had a daughter Shari Lynette White, before her divorce. She then married Thomas D. Kendle in 1982 and he survives with daughter Shari Lynette White, two grandchildren, Tara and Hannah and two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Sydney. She had two siblings who preceded her in passing, Linda Saxton and Lawrence Phillips.

Services were Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg with Pastor Mark Roeda of Zion Community Church, South Bend, officiating. Interment then followed the service at Silverbrook Cemetery in Niles.
