Sharon Canon, 76, of Northfield , died Saturday at Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility in Greenfield. She was born December 27, 1944, the daughter of John Milton and Phyllis ( Coutu ) Hackett in Winchedon, Mass. She attended local schools and graduated from Mahar Regional High School. She grew up in the town of Erving before moving to Enfield, Ct. She returned to live in Northfield, Ma. in 1983 .She married her true love Dwight Canon who passed away shortly after they were married. She worked at Erving Paper Mill, Lego in Enfield, Ct and Rule Tool. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to fish ,sew and oil paint. She enjoyed playing cribbage and poker with family and friends, going to the Wells/York , Maine area. She liked doing sudoku puzzles and loved spending time with family and friends. She also leaves behind her beloved cat , Tiger Lilly.
She is survived by two daughters, Catharina Pero of Northfield and Christina Anderson of Northfield, nine Grand Children, Ashley Clark, Joshua Clark, Corey Ouellette, Joel Anderson, Katelyn Ouellette, Conner Elmore, Logan Anderson, Ava Clark and Charlie Clark, two Nieces, Elizabeth Taft and Valerie Haley, who she thought as her own daughters , and seven Great Grand Children. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Clark and a brother William Hackett.
Graveside services will be Thursday ( 4/15/21) at the Erving Center Cemetery, Mountain Rd, Erving ,Mass.
