Sharon Bilsborough, 62, passed away June 9, 2022. Sharon was born in Norfolk, VA on October 24, 1959 to Alvah Manby, Jr. and the late Joyce Taylor Manby. Sharon retired from the Virginia Department of Health/Norfolk Health Department as a deputy registrar. Sharon loved life and all living things and maintained a smile and positive attitude even when her health began declining. Sharon leaves behind her loving husband Jim, father Al, daughter Stephanie Blount (Drayton), and her daughter's father, Tommy Finch, bonus daughter Stephanie Curtis (Stephen), and grandson Xander Curtis; other family including her Aunt Linda, Marvin, Shannon, and Bubba Carawan, her Aunt Jeannette, John Jr., and Lori Foist. She also leaves behind her beloved pups, Beauregard Seamus (Beau) and Ms. Patti LaBelle (Patti). In addition to her family, Sharon leaves behind a host of cousins from around the country and friends from around the world. A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Chesapeake Chapel on Cedar Road.In lieu of flowers, please come to Waterman's Surfside Grille in Virginia Beach on Thursday, June 16th, from 5:00-8:00 PM and share a memory and drink in honor of Sharon.
