Shalim - derived from Aramaic meaning "peace"
Shalim Shabbas Tatar passed away in El Cerrito, CA on March 31, 2022 after a long illness. Shalim was a pharmacist and independent business owner who ran many successful pharmacies spanning over 50 years until she retired in 2016. She is survived by her children Reem, Nameer and Naseer.
A beautiful memorial service was held for Shalim on April 13, 2022 at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Kensington, CA.
