Warren Anthony Mattielli, 82, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his wife Joan, daughter, Tina, son, Tony and family and friends on November 25, 2024. Warren was born on June 25, 1942, in Cle Elum, Washington, to Anthony "Tony" and Verna (Lund) Mattielli. A piece of Cle Elum's history; Warren's father planted the iconic "Willow tree" on East Third Street the day Warren was born, forever linking his legacy to his hometown. Bonnie L. (Sims) Childs passed away after a short illness on November 22, 2024. Bonnie was born in Roslyn on June 11, 1946. She spent her childhood and early adulthood in Roslyn and graduated from Cle Elum High School in 1964. She married Glen Childs. They lived in Cle Elum and Renton before parting ways. Bonnie was a hard worker all her life. She was one of Cle Elum's first telephone operators. She started working for the Forest Service in Cle Elum in the 1970's. She transferred to Wenatchee and then the Seattle area and rose through the ranks to become a Contracting Officer for the Mt Baker/Snoqualmie National Forests. She retired in 2012.
