Laura (Lollie) Millis Triebold passed away on October 19, 2021 in the comfort of her home and on her own terms following a short bout with cancer. Laura was born February 1, 1940 to Leslie and Doris (Hunt) Engel, the only one of 9 to live past infancy. She attended Campus School (at now UW-Whitewater) from kindergarten through high school, graduating as class valedictorian in 1958. Marilyn M. Brandl, age 81 of Clinton died Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Azura Memory Care in Clinton. She was born April 22, 1940 to the late Francis "Bud" and Alverna (Wilkinson) Eustice in Janesville, WI. Marilyn graduated from Clinton High School, class of 1958. She married her high school sweetheart, Jerry A. Brandl on February 6, 1960 at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church in Sharon. Carol F. Stevens, 74, of Janesville, passed away on October 18, 2021 at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, Wisconsin. Carol was born on February 4, 1947, the daughter of Virgil and Charolette Rogers in Boscobel, Wisconsin. Carol was a sewing magician. She loved quilting with her sisters and creating other crafts. Lois Jean Bright, age 64, of Janesville, WI died on October 18, 2021 at her home. She was born in Meadville, PA on March 9, 1957, the daughter of Donald and Marilyn (Cavanagh) Davenport. She married Gary Richard Bright on December 30, 1982 in Clay, FL. Lois graduated from Janesville Parker High School I 1975 and from Blackhawk Technical College in 1995 with a degree in nursing. She was formerly employed as a registered nurse by Mercy Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville and later as a staff nurse at Rock Haven Nursing Home until her health failed. Edgar J. Hobbs Jr., age 81, of Janesville died on October 18, 2021 at Alden Meadow Park Health Care Center in Clinton. He was born on July 3, 1940 in Ferryville, WI, the son of Edgar J and Lucetta (Torgerson) Hobbs Sr. He grew up in the Ferryville and Gays Mills area where his parents farmed. Matthew T. Shinkus, age 71, of Darien passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021 at home. He was born in Elkhorn on August 16, 1950 to John and Sophie Shinkus. Matt graduated from DDHS in 1969. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Matt was united in marriage to Deborah Dutton on October 5, 1974 at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Delavan.
