Florence 'Florrie' Louise (Stier) Holbrook, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2022 surrounded by her family at her home in New Boston, NH at the age of 87. Florence was born on March 21, 1935 in Lynn, MA. She graduated from Saugus High School in 1952, married Herbert Holbrook in 1956. They lived in Lynn and Salem. Their son, Kenneth was born in 1957. Robert F (Bob) Chase, 95, a resident of Rollinsford NH, passed away peacefully at his home, on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Robert was born in Lynn Mass, the son of Edward and Hilda Chase. He was educated in the Lynn school system. At 18, Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army to fight in World War II. After basic training was sent to Europe where he bravely fought with the 102nd Infantry, engaging the enemy through France and into Germany. He earned a Bronze Star for bravery under fire. At the conclusion of the war, he spent several months at a rest camp in Berchtesgaden to recover from an injury.
