Walter D. Peretiatko, Sr., 92, of Lewes, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Beebe Medical Center. Born on September 4, 1929 in Rawa Ruska, Austria, (now Ukraine), he was the son of the late William Peretiatko and Mary Zychaiti Peretiatko. He grew up in Europe during the German occupation of Ukraine. In the early 1940's he and his sister, Lydia, fled Ukraine just before the end of WWII. After coming to this country through Ellis Island the family settled in Chester, PA. He served honorably in the US Army as a medic during the Korean Conflict. Roger Douglas Hendricks, Sr., age 81, of Middletown, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2022. Born in Harrington, DE, he was a son of the late Franklin Harvey and Mary (Bakota) Hendricks. Roger graduated from Harrington High School in 1958 and from Goldey-Beacom College in 1960.
