Janet grew up in Brighton, MA, graduated from St. Columbkille High School and went on to earn an associates degree from New England Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences. She was the daughter of John D. and Mary Haskett Donahue. She grew up in Brunswick, Maine and graduated from Westbrook College in Portland, Maine. Betty and Gordon "Mac" McKinnon were married in October of 1949. They lived in various locations around New England and New York while Mac was a newspaper journalist. They eventually settled in Sharon, Massachusetts and lived there for several decades. Eva P. (Miner) Perry, 93, passed away Friday October 15th, 2021, at the Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, NH after an eight-year battle with Alzheimer's.
