The son of the late Donald and Evelyn (Karloff) Peterson, he was born in Pender, NE, on February 24, 1948. Soon after he was received into Christ's Kingdom through the sacrament of Baptism. Beverly A. Falkenberg, 94, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Traditions at Brookside. She was born April 4, 1926 in Redfield, SD to the late Dwight L. & Anne (Sandelin) Young. Beverly graduated from Clark High School in South Dakota in 1944. She worked for Abrasive Products in Fortville followed by working in the Food Services Department of Mt Vernon High School until her retirement in 1986 and later as a clerk for Personal Impressions until 1989. She was a member of Fortville United Methodist Church (now Gateway Community Church) and formerly active in the United Methodist Women's group. Richard E. "Arnie" Arneson passed on August 8th, 2020 at his home. Born in Eakin, SD on November 18, 1931 to Ralph and Flora Arneson, he was raised in Clark, SD with an older and younger brother. Upon HS graduation Richard joined the US Navy and served for 30 years, both active and reserve. He is a veteran of the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. During his early military service Richard met and married Winifred "Winnie" Roy of Elkins, WV. After living in duty stations of Hawaii, Ohio, California and Colorado, they settled in Richard's hometown of Clark, SD for many years. Brian D. Miller, age 59, of Hayti, SD, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019, at his residence. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel in Watertown. Pastor Elmer Brinkman will officiate.
