Curtis (Curt) Anthony Buher passed away peacefully on December 20, 2021 at his home on Pleasant Ridge near La Conner, Washington. He was 66 years old. After being diagnosed with brain cancer in the Spring, Curt was able to spend his last months with family and friends. Curt was born September 23rd, 1955 in Bremerton, Washington, to Donald and Juanita Buher. He was the youngest of four children. Kenneth Leo Fuhrer was born in Spencer, Nebraska, on November 19, 1933, to Leo and Rose (Angel) Fuhrer. Six months later Leo tragically drowned, and Rose moved west with Ken and his older sister Lorraine (Gilberg). Terri (Barlow) Major, 68, of Bremerton, passed away after a long battle with chronic illness on September 4. Terri was born in 1952 in Longview, WA to parents John and Grace (Jack) Barlow. She graduated from R.A. Long High in 1970 and married Robert Major in 1972. She ran small businesses while raising her children and returned to education in 1993. Mary lost her battle with dementia/Alzheimer's disease on September 2, 2020. She grew up in Wichita, Kansas, and started working at a record store while in high school. Mary was a gardener and landscaped her yard until it looked like a park. She also enjoyed reading and having lunch on her deck with her flower pots and loved to grow produce for the local food banks.
