Margaret Ann Surratt Mau, 82 of Brooksville, FL passed away peacefully August 9, 2020. She was born on July 4, 1938 in Baldwyn, MS to William and Lucille Surratt. She is survived by her son, Todd Mau (Stefan) of Madeira Beach, FL; sister, Cheryl Lecce of Savanah, TN; brother and second son, Tim Surratt (Judy) of Pace, FL; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Mlecka of Brooksville, FL; nieces, nephews, and several grand-nieces and nephews. Ms. Mau, a 58 year resident of the area, was very active her entire life in numerous county and charity organizations. BOONEVILLE -- Gary Pippin, 55, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at home in Booneville. Services will be on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Saturday from 12:00 until 3:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.

Louise Gail Vanzant, 61, of Lee County, GA, died June 20, 2019. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Philema Road Baptist Church. Rev. Aaron McCulley will officiate. Interment will follow in Leesburg Cemetery. Gail was born on Feb. 3, 1958 in San Antonio, TX to the late Robert and Imogene Pressley. She graduated from Hamilton High School in Hamilton, MS and moved Lee County, GA in 1977. Gail married the late Charles Milton Vanzant in 1979.
