Jerome (Jerry) Patrick Sobota went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2022, surrounded by his wife and children, following a short but valiant battle with cancer. Jerry was born March 20, 1955, at Latrobe Hospital in Pennsylvania, to Paul Peter and Virgil Bridge Sobota and raised with his seven siblings in Derry, PA. After high school graduation, Jerry joined the United States Air Force. While stationed in Dayton, Ohio, he attended a Bible study, where he met Joy Louise Sager.
