Mary Louise Moreno, 76, of Abilene, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021. She was born on May 5, 1945 in Stamford to P.R. and Teresa (Rayna) Escobedo. The family received friends and loved ones during visitation hours from 5 pm to 7 pm on Monday, October 11 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, with a rosary immediately following at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass was held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, October 12 at Holy Family Catholic Church, followed by a committal service at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene at 1:00 pm. Raymond Dale Brigham, Ph.D., died of natural causes on Monday, July 13, 2020. Raymond was born April 1, 1926, in Stamford, Texas to parents H. Floyd and Rose Brigham. He married the love of his life, Virginia May (Trenfield) Brigham on December 26, 1949, and she survives. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Huda Marie (ne'e Hassen) Bragalone, 84, of Fairview, Texas passed peacefully on July 31, 2019, while surrounded by family. Born to D. and Frieda Hassen in Stamford, Texas, Huda developed her impeccable taste and style working in "Hassens" - the family clothing store, and was the 1952 valedictorian of Stamford High School. Huda earned a Bachelor of Arts in speech therapy at Texas Tech University, where she was Phi Beta Kappa and a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. After college, Huda worked at the USO in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where she met the love of her life, Ray Bragalone, then a young Army officer.
