Betty Ann Francis, age 83, of Janesville, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at home. She was born on December 25, 1939, the daughter of Thomas and Ann Roehl. She lived in the Janesville area her whole life. Betty was employed by Farm & Fleet for 38 years until her retirement in 2003. She loved spending her days helping customers in the farm department. Betty owned and operated Francis Farm Stables for 30 years. She was always kind to others and would do all she could to help others in need. Dorothy Reigle Feldt passed away on June 13, 2023. Dorothy Elaine Reigle was born to Estella and William Reigle Sr. on March 29, 1920 in Beloit Wisconsin. She was the oldest of their 9 children. Dorothy met Jay Feldt at a dance at Bluff View in Brodhead; they married in June 1941 and farmed west of Evansville until March of 1946 when they moved to Evansville. In later years, Dorothy worked in the toy and gift department of the Grange Store. Shirley M. Jaggi, age 94, passed away on Sunday, March 19,2023 at St. Mary's Hospital Hospice in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin to John and Lucinda Dahlk on August 7, 1928. She married Edwin Jaggi on August 20, 1947 in Verona, Wisconsin. She and her husband eventually settled in Brodhead in 1952 where Edwin began cheese making for Spring Creek Cheese Cooperative until their retirement in 1988.
