Judy Mae Fyten, 79-year-old resident of Pierz, died on Wednesday, May 10, at the Maple Grove Hospital in Maple Grove, MN. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, May 17, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. Visitation will be 9:00 - 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday at the church in Buckman. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Judy was born on May 14, 1943, in Grantsburg, WI, to Merle and Lorraine (Chatleain) Chelmo. She graduated from Grantsburg High School in 1961. Darrell Myron Johnson, was born (in the back bedroom of his grampa's house) in Falun, Wisconsin on August 1, 1939, to Beatrice Warner Johnson and Myron E Johnson. He joined a brother, Wayne. His brothers Larry, Dennis and Brian followed in short order. Many years later sister, Cheryl (Daniels) was born. Darrell graduated from Grantsburg High in 1957. He remained a true Packer fan his whole life. Darrell served in the US Army in Alaska, arriving just before the great Alaskan earthquake of 1964. Helen Grace (Wicklund) Johnson passed away June 24, 2022 at the St. Clare Living Community in Mora MN. She was 96 years old. Helen was born June 8, 1926 at Riverside Farm in Alpha, Wisconsin to Christina (Aronson) and John "Albert" Wicklund. She was the ninth of eleven children to be raised on the family farm. Helen was the last Wicklund sibling of her generation. She cherished her family heritage, and her life reflected the kindness and decency her generation of Wicklund siblings demonstrated.
