Marcia felt like she had a great life. She was born in Moscow, Idaho, on June 4, 1947, to Paul and Kathryn Hoskins. She had 1 sister (Kathy) and 2 brothers (Alan and Dan), who all enjoyed the outdoors experiences that Paul's job with the US Forest Service encouraged. Favorite activities included riding horses, snowmobiling, swimming, camping and skiing on snow in winter and water in the summer. She attended grade school at Wisdom, Lima and Deer Lodge, graduating from high school at Deer Lodge in 1965, with a class of about 85. James "Jim" Earle Shipman, 84, of Big Timber, MT, formerly of Hamilton, MT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Spring Creek Inn Memory Care in Bozeman, MT where he had been residing for a short time. Jim lived with Parkinson's disease and dementia for many years. Jim was born May 11, 1937, in Lincoln, NE, the son of Harold Lee and Effa Helen (Westervelt) Shipman. He lived in Havlock, NE until age two. The family then moved to the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State where his father worked during wartime.
