Edward Lee Runyan, age 84, of Zionsville, IN, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2022, surrounded by love in his home. He was born on February 14, 1938, in Crawfordsville to the late Mary DeEtta (Wilkinson) Runyan and Elihu Runyan. Born in a rural community, Ed enjoyed farming from the time he cultivated his own "fields" at age 2 and most recently from his sunroom as he checked weather reports and grain alerts throughout each day. After farming with his father, grandfathers, and brother during his formative years, Ed graduated in 1956 from Waynetown High School and attended Franklin College before transferring to Elkhart University School of Medical and Dental Technique....

Kathrine L. (Gaspar) Reiss Port St. Lucie, Florida Kathrine L. (Gaspar) Reiss of Port St. Lucie, FL and formerly of Surry and Ellsworth passed away on March 1, 2022 in Fort Pierce, Florida after a period of declining health. Kathy was born in Blue Hill, ME on March 23, 1953 the eldest child of Ronald H. Gaspar and Maple A. (Flanders Gaspar) Conary. She graduated from Ellsworth High School in June 1971. She worked several jobs in the Ellsworth area including waitressing and the meat dept. of IGA. In 1990 she moved to Florida with her then husband, Kenn Reiss, and their son. It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of John W. Berry of Jaffrey, NH on December 26th, 2021, with his loving wife, Laura, by his side. John began his journey October 9th, 1954 in Springfield, MA, he was the son of Francis and Eleanor (Goodwin) Berry. He grew up in Franklin, ME and graduated from Sumner Memorial High School in Sullivan, ME. John then enlisted in The United States Army and completed his basic training at Fort Dix in New Jersey and was then assigned to the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, KY. Marlene Barbara Brown Merchant, 82, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2020, at Hanover Hill Health Care Center in Manchester, NH. Marlene was born on January 11, 1938, in Inglewood, CA, to Ernestine Gray Brown and Robert Everett Brown. At age 5, stepfather George E. Maiah Alyssa Reilich-Godino was born at the No. 7 Road in Steuben, Maine on June 10, 2001 on a beautiful summer morning. She left us on March 3, 2020 at the height of her life, filled with joy, in a tragic freak accident in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park near Maryville College in Tennessee where she was attending her first year of school. David Ordlin Moone, 70, of Dalton, MA, passed away July 20, 2019 at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Ellsworth, Maine on October 12, 1948, to Bloomfield and Leila Carter Moone, he was a graduate of Ellsworth High School. He married his wife, the former Paula Winslow on May 27, 2002. Dave was a registered hunting and fishing guide in the state of Maine for many years. He taught CPR and First Aid for the Red Cross for many years, earning the Warren Sears Community Service Award in 1999. An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved fly-fishing and tying his own flies.
