Battista "Sonny" Calvetti, age 72, of Sun Prairie and formerly of Hurley, WI died on Sunday, June 12, 2022 with his loving wife, Amy, by his side. Sonny was born on March 1, 1950 to Eugene "Gene" and Antoinette "Toni" Calvetti. Sonny spent several years in education and coaching, and prior to his retirement in 2014, he worked for the State of Wisconsin DWD. His wife Amy survives him along with his uncle Richard "Dick" and aunt Kathleen "June" Calvetti; aunt Irene (David) Rautio; several cousins; his sister-in-law Cassie (Shawn) Lincoln; and nephew Zayne Lincoln (Isabell Malicoat). Frank "Chub" Kopenski the "Potent Pole" passed away peacefully with family, April 11, 2022. He was 92 years old, and in a storybook ending, passed away on his late wife's 92nd birthday. Frank taught American History to thousands of young men, for 37 years at Marquette University High School (MUHS) in Milwaukee, WI., from 1955 to his retirement in 1991. Best remembered for his muskrat pelt skinning demonstrations in front of class and fair but hard-nosed, no-nonsense demeanor. As a coach at MUHS from 1955 to 1971, his Hilltoppers earned seven Catholic Conference championships in both football and track with five track team State Championships. PLATTEVILLE - Frank Douglas Hanson, age 93, died at Edenbrook in Platteville, Wisconsin, on Monday, October 18, 2021. Frank was born October 10, 1928, in Iron River, Michigan. He married Elizabeth Audrey Middlebrook on April 22, 1950. She preceded him in death on March 19, 1979. He married Kathleen Evelyn Lakich on September 5, 1981, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Frank enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of seventeen and served in both the Navy and United States Coast Guard for eleven years. He loved the Great Lakes and was an avid swimmer and scuba diver. In retirement, he enjoyed attending his ship mates' reunions in various states each year and liked to read and build model ships....

Jerry A. Lovejoy, age 74, passed away on August 30th at home surrounded by his family. He was born on October 16th, 1946, in Lakewood Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife Sandi for 52 years, son Michael, daughter Lisa, and grandchild Tabby. Also, all his fur babies he loved and enjoyed Missy, Frank, Artimes, Noobs, and Wilfred. Leonard R. Willming, 70, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Spectrum Health Lakeland, St. Joseph. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Visitation will take place one hour prior, from 1-2 pm. Audrey Bauer, 83, of Pellston, Michigan, formerly of Crystal Falls, Michigan, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020. Audrey was born July 7, 1936, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to George and Christina (Henderson) Thomson. Audrey lived in Pellston, for ten years and was a deacon at Transfiguration Episcopal Church in Indian River, Michigan. She was also a member of the Episcopal Church in St. Ignace, Michigan, until its closing. The church was very important to her, and where she had many good friends.
