Richard "Dick" Allen Hunt, 87, of Montague, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. He was born December 31, 1936, in Muskegon, the son of Walt and Esther (Gillan) Hunt. Dick graduated from Montague High School in 1955. After high school, he attended Central Michigan University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science, in Business Administration, in 1959. During his college years, he participated in the ROTC program and proudly served our country in the United States Army following graduation. Lucille Carol Michael, age 85, died peacefully at her home in Whitehall, Michigan, on September 8, 2024, with loving family at her side. Lucille was born in Detroit on November 19, 1938, to Henry and Jeanne Bibeau. She was well known and loved in Whitehall, where she lived for over 50 years. Lawrence (Larry) Donovan Frietsch, 74, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of September 3, 2024. He was born April 12, 1950, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the son of Lawrence Delano and Doris (Hamilton) Frietsch. Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army, a Vietnam veteran, before retiring from Howmet. Larry was a wonderful cook and baker, known for his delicious meals and treats. Gail Marie Treptow-Crane, 70, of Montague, passed away Monday, August 19, 2024. She was born June 28, 1954, in Muskegon, the daughter of James and Ormal (Niesen) Treptow. Gail graduated from Montague High School in 1972. She obtained an Associate in Business degree from Baker College. Gail was then employed by Whitehall Metal Products and later, Clock Funeral Home.
