Mrs. Mary Rozella "Roze" Franks, formerly of Florence, MS and recently of State Line, MS passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church in Florence where she was a member. Roze was born February 26, 1949 to the late Warren George and Annie Rozeka Burton in Fulton, MS. She lived in Florence for 19 years before moving to Stateline a year ago to live near family. Edward Felton Garrett, 92, of Pana, IL passed away July 26, 2021 at his residence in Pana. Edward was born May 17, 1929 in Red Bay, AL, the son of William and Mattie (Skinner) Garrett. Harvey R. "Sonny" Jackson, 88, of Zion, IL passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Sonny, as he is well known to his family and friends, was born April 29, 1933 in Marion County, AL. Johnnie Moore Thomas, 79, of Madison, passed away Wednesday. Mrs. Thomas was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
