She was born on August 8, 1947, in Amory, MS to the late Shelby Lee Harris and Mary Alice McCullough Harris-Robison. Rosemary grew up in Monroe County and graduated from Amory High School with the Class of 1965. She attended Mississippi State University and graduated in 1969 with a Bachelor of Science in Education.
