Reverend Kenneth Walter "Ken" Sisk, age 71, of Section, Alabama, and formally of Dalton, Georgia, was promoted to Glory, Sunday May 22, 2022, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. Ken was born June 30, 1950, in Hamilton County, Tennessee, son of the late Walter Fate and Willie Belle Flippo Sisk. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Alec Fate Sisk, sisters, Fannie Hand, Mary Belle Hill, and Mammie Sisk and a brother-in-law, Ben Carter. Elmo Lindsay Giddens 91 years of age departed from his life at his home of Lookout Mountain, Georgia. Being fourth born of seven to Hebert Bryan and Peral Lindsay Giddens was no deterrent when it came to strength and tenacity. Scottsboro, Alabama boys did not know the meaning of the word "slacker" when it came to work. Class of 1948 graduate from Jackson County High, Elmo Lindsay Giddens, joined the United States Army in 1951 at the rank of private first class. Serving less than a year, his family requiring his services at home when Hebert Bryan suffered debilitating injuries in an automobile accident. Joyce Irving Bryant, age 85, of Boone, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at her home. She was born February 9, 1936 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Laddie Joe Irving and Susan Ada Roach Irving. She worked in furniture sales and interior design and was a member of the Boone Church of Christ. Joyce found the love of her life, Bill, in high school and they were happily married for 49 years.
