Ruth Joan (Primus) Halter, age 91, of Lawrenceville, Illinois passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on February 06, 1931 in Knox County, Indiana, the daughter of Joseph and Elvira (Minderman) Primus, who was raised with her three brothers on a farm, where she grew up playing in the outdoors and living frugally through hardships with prayer, gratitude, and generous care for others.
