Stanley A. Torstenson, age 84, of Genoa City, WI, died peacefully at home on July 5th, 2022. He was born in Darlington, WI, on June 26, 1938. The son of the late Carl and Ella (Boyle) Torstenson. On August 20, 1960, he was united in marriage to Sally A. Shepherd. In his early years, Stan was a teacher and coach at Shullsburg High School and Wilmot High School. He retired from teaching to enter the home building supply industry with Elkhorn Lumber in 1978, which led to Stan starting his own business, that being Stan's Lumber in Twin Lakes, WI. My parents named me Charles Edward Friederich, but everybody calls me Charlie. I was born in the small town of Western, Nebraska, on Friday the 13th of July, 1934. Nordlee Crisman on May 8, 2021. He worked for Blue Scope Buildings North America as a welder by trade. He loved racing, football, playing Euchre, Budweiser Beer and was a diehard Earnhardt fan. Ellen (McAloon, Dischler) Prather of Madison peacefully passed away August 11, 2021 comforted by the love and support of family. Ellen was born on October 1, 1935 in the Yellowstone Cheese Factory and graduated from Darlington High School in 1953. Janice Maxine Miller, 77, of Naples, FL, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 after a long illness. She was born July 16, 1942 in Darlington, WI, the daughter of Howard L. and Maxine A.
