Dr. Mark Alan McLaughlin, 67, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Susanne Baker McLaughlin, entered into eternal rest Sunday, April 24, 2022. His memorial service will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Second Presbyterian Church, 342 Meeting Street, at 2:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Downtown Chapel. Wade Ward, age 75, passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. He was born on October 11, 1945 in Sylvania, GA as the ninth child to Charlie Ausier and Sara Alice Forehand Ward. Wade worked on the family dairy farm in Screven County until enlisting in the Navy at the age of eighteen. In the Navy he served during the Vietnam War aboard the USS Constellation as a Communication Specialist.
