WITT, Susan Sidney Dant, 68, wife of James C. "Crickett" Witt, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 at her home in Lexington, KY. She was born May 20, 1955 in New Hope, KY to Mary Louise Dant and her late husband George Sidney Dant. Susan and James were married in Kingston, Jamaica on January 28, 1985. Together they spent many years overseas and some of her fondest memories were of their time in Africa. She was an avid golfer and member of Spring Valley Country Club. Colonel Gilberto Cardenas, USA, Retired , 94 of Puerto Rico, passed away in Grand Prairie on Tuesday September 27, 2022. He was born in Puerto Rico on June 9, 1928. He attended the University of Puerto Rico before joining the Army in 1951. Colonel Cardenas is a decorated war veteran having served with Valor in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a Borinqueneer and a member of the 65th Infantry Regiment of Puerto Rico.
