Donald (Donnie) Elmore, 79, of Indian Creek passed away Monday, July 25, 2022. Born June 27, 1943, he was the son of the late Dee Elmore and Eva Hamilton Elmore. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Nannette Elmore, and 3 brothers, Vernon, Dallas, and Dorsey Elmore. He was a retired lineman and member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Donald was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed watching all sports but especially UK football and basketball. Donald was a kind and generous man helping others when he could and had given cars to several people in need. She was the youngest child born to Hobert Miniard and Rebecca Maggard Miniard. She was born November 3, 1930, in Casey County, to the late Boone and Della Elliott Carman, and was the oldest and last surviving sibling of her family. Lowell Preston "Son" Cochran passed away at his home on July 2, 2021 at the age of 86. Born April 18, 1935, in Liberty, KY, to George Roe and Bessie (Sharp) Cochran. He married Gladys Ann Reeves on February 12, 1959. They had been married 62 years at the time of his death. One of 13 children, Lowell worked on the family farm before he was drafted during the Korean War. He worked for General Motors for 26 years, retiring in 1992.
