Deborah "Debbie" Dale McGee (N?e Myers) passed peacefully at home on the morning of December 1, 2021, surrounded by her family. Debbie was born on February 4, 1951, in Orange, CA to Dale Lee Myers and Clara Mae Myers (N?e Glover). She grew up in the Ohio River Valley where she called St. Marys, WV and Martins Ferry, OH, her home. She attended Martins Ferry High School and graduated with the class of 1969. Dr. Clarence Walter Newman, Montana State University emeritus professor of animal science and author passed in his hometown of Bozeman, MT on November 14, 2021, at the age of 89. Walter is survived by his two sons, Steven (Debra) and Craig (Debi), grandsons Russell and Thomas, stepdaughter Carrie Miller, step grandchildren Angie Gross (Brian), Amber Keith, Sean Miller, and Jenny Schmitz (Kyler), seven great grandchildren and former wife Kay Newman. Larry Sutter, 76, of Belgrade, MT passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was born and raised in Minot, ND. He married Sandra Reilly in 1968. In his early years he raced late model stock cars and was a member of the NoDak Race Club, also flagging for sprint car races held in Minot. He moved his family to Denver for five years, then Livingston, MT with their two boys. He spent 37 years with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as an outside electrician and retired in Havre, MT. Farwell Dunlap Smith, 94, of Big Timber, Montana, passed away on June 14, 2021, at the ranch near Big Timber. He was born in 1927 in Lake Forest, Illinois, to Hermon Dunlap Smith and Ellen Thorne Smith. Farwell attended Phillips Exeter Academy, and graduated from Harvard in 1948. He served in the U.S. Merchant Marine from 1945 to 1947, and the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. In 1954 he married Nora Stone. The couple had four children together, Matthew, Temple, Loren and Brendan. Dorothy Jean (Gornick) Parisi, 84, passed away December 24, 2019 at Livingston Health & Rehabilitation Center after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was born in Livingston November 18, 1935 to Joseph and Fannie (Versnick) Gornick. Dorothy received her education in Livingston, graduating from Park High School in 1953. She worked at J.C. Penney briefly before marrying Marco Parisi, Jr. on December 12, 1953. Dorothy worked diligently at making a good home for her husband and son. She was an accomplished cook, baker, gardener, and seamstress and lovingly shared these skills as her family expanded. Louise J. Hill, 70, of Bozeman, passed away December 7, 2019. She was born March 11, 1949 to Alvin and Esther Rosenthal in Baltimore, MD. Louise grew up in the Mt. Washington area of Northwest Baltimore and attended grade school and high school there. She earned a B.A. in anthropology and a M.A. in counseling psychology. Louise worked as a print editor for 29 years and as a counselor for 12 years. Boyd Burton Nelson, 95, of Manhattan, was called to his heavenly estate on August 1, 2019. He passed in Bozeman with his family and friends by his side. He was the first born of three children to Ida and Dale Nelson in Enid, Oklahoma on May 8, 1924, and he spent his childhood in Carrier, Oklahoma, on the family farm during the Dust Bowl. Amy McEvoy Simpson, 88, of Livingston, died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, July 16, 2019. A native of Liverpool, England, Amy was born on September 20, 1930, the daughter of Walter McEvoy and Margaret (Jones) McEvoy; she was one of eight siblings. At age 8, Amy was evacuated from Liverpool to Wales to escape German bombing raids during World War II. She lived in Caernarfon, Wales until she was 13 when she returned to Liverpool. The family with whom she lived in Wales remained important to her for decades. At 14, Amy left school to begin working to support herself.
