Mr. Alton Virgil Farley, 93, of Jasper, AL, entered into rest on February 2, 2023 in Grovetown, GA. Mr. Farley enjoyed dancing, especially square dancing and line dancing. He also enjoyed watching baseball and cheering on the Crimson Tide. Mr. Farley is preceded in death by his wife Ruth Farley, his stepson Thomas Fulwider, his son-in-law Charles Keathley and his dear companion, Janice Read. Anne Pierce Bailey, a wonderful wife, mother, and Nana, age 92, of Seymour, Tennessee, was called home by her Lord and Savior on October 16, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was a committed Christian who loved Jesus and had the absolute assurance of her salvation and eternal life. Bettye Ann (Livingston) Mills, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Bettye was born on May 27, 1937 in Carbon Hill, Alabama to Lewis M. and Roxie A. Livingston. She was the youngest girl in a family of ten siblings and she loved her brothers and sisters dearly. The daughter of a preacher man and a prayer warrior, Bettye was a woman of great faith. Her favorite books to read as a child were Bible stories, and though she officially accepted Christ at the age of 12, she once said that she thought she was actually baptized in her mother's womb. John Tubbs, Jr. age 52, died in Oakman, Alabama on April 6, 2022. John was born May 12, 1969, in Nuremberg, Germany, where his mother (Amy Kline) and father (John Tubbs, Sr.) were living while John Sr. was serving in the U.S. Army. John grew up in Ingleside, Illinois and attended Gavin Grade School and Grant High School, where many teachers and fellow students were amazed at his photographic memory and artistic abilities.
