Game designer, columnist and book author, Robert Roy Luedeman, Sr., 87 years young of Mooresville, died on July 14th, 2022, in the comfort of his home surrounded by all four of his children. Commonly referred to as Bob, he began his earthly journey on August 14th, 1934, in Indianapolis, to the late Edwin and Louise (Abell) Luedeman. Attending the Thomas Carr Howe Academy, Bob graduated from high school in 1952 and went on to further his studies at Indiana Central, Purdue University. Susan Wingfield (Carlisle) Tomlinson, 66, Martinsville, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and exceptional educator, passed away July 8, 2022. Susan was born April 11, 1956, in Indianapolis, to the late George E. Carlisle and Janet (Wingfield) Carlisle, who survives. Susan graduated from Mooresville High School and continued her studies at Ball State University, from where she earned a B.S. degree in Social Studies Education and Secondary Education in 1977. Jackie was born on May 21, 1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Paul Allen and Katherine (Pyles) Allen. Jackie worked as an administrative assistant for Eli Lilly & Company for 10 years. Kenneth Allen Lopossa, age 75 of Poland passed away June 15th, 2022. He was born September 9th, 1946 in Eminence to the late Bennie and Virgie (Davis) Lopossa. Kenneth married Marsha (Bullock) Lopossa September 28th, 1968 and she survives. Kenneth and Marsha enjoyed Traveling with lifelong friends Chester and Nancy Hicks and Dick and Alice Wade. He worked 33 years at Chrysler and retired in November of 2001. He enjoyed horseback riding, gardening and fishing with his grandkids and his special popsicles with his great grandkids. Shirley Ellen (Shields) Richards was born in Laconia, Indiana, to Robert and Helen (Langdon) Shields, on September 18, 1935. Unfortunately, she lost her dad in 1949. Her youth was spent in Laconia, Edinburgh, and (mostly) Martinsville. She met Jim Richards and married him at the tender age of 18, moved to Columbus, and they soon had two sons. She loved music and was a skilled pianist, so in her spare time, she offered piano lessons. She also loved books and bulldogs. Shirley and Jim became active members of the First Christian Church (FCC) of Columbus, which played a pivotal role in her life. Naomi Ruth Baker 87, of Mooresville, passed away on May 3, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. Friends and family will gather to celebrate Naomi's life on Friday, May 6th from 4-6pm at the Spring Hill Christian Center in Mooresville, with services beginning at 6pm Friday in the church. Robert E. Lybrook was introduced to the world in 1941 and was the oldest of three children to Robert B Lybrook and Josephine Miller Lybrook Rudicel. He spent his childhood in Franklin, lived most of his adult life in Martinsville, and retired in Estero, Florida. He was friendly to everyone he met and asked them to call him "Bob." Everett F. "Pappy" Hendren 94 of Mooresville, passed away on March 10, 2022, at the Springs of Mooresville. Pappy was born on January 15, 1928 in Lincoln City, Indiana to the late Everett R. Hendren and Alberta (VanWinkle) Hendren. Pappy grew up in Spencer County and graduated from Gentryville High School. Ellen R. Perkins, 85, of Mooresville passed peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Born July 31, 1936, she was the first born child to the late Robert and Freda Walls of Brooklyn, IN. She married Curtis Perkins on June 4, 1955. Curt preceded her in death on June 19, 2005. Ellen was a proud and dedicated member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1111.
