She was born in Michigan City, Indiana on February 5, 1932, to Peter James Kelly and Laura Blanche Littlejohn Kelly. David Harold Keppen, born September 30, 1933 in Michigan City, Indiana, to the late Harold and Lucinda Kroening Keppen, died Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Mountain Home, Arkansas of congestive heart failure. David graduated from Elston High School in Michigan City, and in 1952 he married Janella Hart. The high school sweethearts met in 10th grade English class and were married 66 years, before Janella's death in 2019. David was employed by the United States Steel (Gary Works) as weighmaster and field auditor for 30 years.
