Harry Hugh Briscoe, age 81, passed away on January 27, 2023, after a short illness. Mr. Briscoe was born on July 26, 1941, son of the late Harry Briscoe and the late Gladys Ashe Briscoe. He was born and raised in Pine Lake, Georgia and was a graduate of Decatur High School. Mr. Briscoe graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University. After graduation, he married Jackie Ammons and served in the U.S. Army for four years. He and Jackie moved to Rome in 1966. Mrs. Blanton was born in Rome, GA on August 18, 1931, daughter of the late Ernest Benjamin Smith and the late Willie Ella McCraw Smith.
