Ilene Burton Goble Bowman, age 93 of Ranger, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her residence. Ilene was born in Pickens County, GA, daughter of the late Vester Harvey Burton and Nina Shope Burton. In addition to her parents, Ilene was also preceded in death by: her first husband, Taylor Knight Goble; three brothers, Tom Burton, Edward Burton and Lewis Burton; and three sisters, Lois Goble, Jewel Thacker and Edna Terry. Ilene was a long-time beautician and cosmetologist in the Ranger Community. She was a member of Fairview Church of God. Mr. Gerald Lawrence Sollinger, age 84, of Calhoun, Georgia departed this life Tuesday, July 25, 2022 at the local hospital. He was born September 23, 1937 in Murray County, Minnesota. David Livingstone Harrison, age 88, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 23, 2022 in Boone, NC. Born October 16, 1933 in Dalton, Georgia, he was the son of the Mims and Alice Harrison of Calhoun Georgia. David graduated from Calhoun High School and earned a degree in Textile Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1954 where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta and the Georgia Tech Band. On July 24, 1955, he married Dorothy Lee Christian of Calhoun, and they recently celebrated 67 years of marriage. Spencer was born on November 29, 1926, in Cobb County to the late Howard Causey and Susie Smith Causey. Marguerite Louise Payne Causby, age 93 of Calhoun, GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 after an extended illness. Marguerite was born on October 17, 1928 in Gordon County, GA, daughter of the late Jessie H. and Mae B. Payne. She was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church for over 75 years, where she served as a GA leader, kitchen staff and in the choir. Marguerite was a graduate of Calhoun High School.
