Truman F. "Harry" Burnette, age 84, of Wellston, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Jenkins Care Community in Wellston. The youngest of 10 children, Harry was born September 11, 1937 in Gallia County, Ohio, to the late Truman Fulton Burnette and Stella Smith Burnette. Harry retired from Keiger Creek Power Plant and later owned and operated the Motor Parts Company in both Gallipolis and Middleport. Harry was a fun-loving jokester who never met a stranger. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and being around his family and friends. Nancy L. Taylor, 83, of New Plymouth, formerly of Bidwell, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021, at her sons' residence in New Plymouth. She was born April 14, 1938, in Quinwood, West Virginia, daughter of the late James and Cora Hodges Kincaid. Nancy was the widow of the late Oral Ray Taylor. She was a retired caretaker for the Chillicothe Senior Citizens and known by her family as their Monarch Butterfly. Bruce Eric Atkinson, age 81, of McDonough, passed away, Friday, August 28, 2020. He was born in Gallipolis, Ohio to Forest Atkinson and Grace Atkinson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Joyce Atkinson and brother, Lee Atkinson. Garland F. Folden (aka Fred) died on June 15, 2020 in Seneca, South Carolina, where the family had recently moved. He was 91 years old.
