Annabell M. Benson, 91 of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Good Samaritan Society-Comforcare. Annabell Mae was born July 7, 1930 in Blackduck, Minnesota to Frederick William and Anna Cecilia (Sorberg) Benson. She was a graduate of Blackduck High School, and went on to earn her teaching degree from Bemidji State. Her entire teaching career has been in Minnesota public education. She began in Williams, and then later taught in Litchfield, Hutchinson, and Austin. Annabell was a very active and faithful member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Austin. Rev. Hyle R. Anderson, age 72, passed away after a long bout with Interstitial Lung Disease, related to Rheumatoid Arthritis. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on January 29th at 11:00 a.m., with LCMS District President Scott Sailer officiating. Viewing will be January 28th from 3:00 to 7:00 with a prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m., at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home in Aberdeen, SD. Passed away on March 21, 2020 at the age of 86. He was the loving father of Cary (Deb) of West Allis, WI and Christopher of Waterford, WI. Further survived by nieces and nephews, other loved relatives and friends. Duane was a proud US Air Force veteran as well as a proud member of Cudahy Lions Club, The Apollo Program, and the Knights of Columbus. He retired from Lucas-Milhaupt after 30 plus years of service. Margaret (Peg) Rouse Wolfe, 84, of Anchorage died peacefully in her sleep September 29, 2019 from complications of Alzheimer's Disease. She was born July 17, 1935, at Bemidji, Minnesota, to Willard H. "Bill" Rouse and Frances D. "Frankie" Lloyd. She graduated from Bemidji High School in 1953. She then earned a BA in Human Services from the University of Minnesota (1957) and an MS / Social Work (1965) from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
