Jerome "Jerry" Ross Clarke, 66, passed away on November 8th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born November 10th, 1955, in Slayton, MN to Ross and Marjorie Clarke where he grew up on the family farm near Avoca. He is preceded in death by his parents Ross and Marjorie and his grandparents, Fred and Lydia Clarke, Henry and Leona Williamson and Aunt Harriet Timmerman. Robert L. Horstman June 15, 1948-March 9, 2022 Robert L. Horstman was born on June 15, 1948, in Sibley, Iowa, to Lowell and Betty Horstman, and was welcomed by sister Collette. He attended the Bigelow School through 8th grade and graduated from Worthington High School in 1966. He was an integral part of the family's farm operation until his father's death in 1967. Roger grew up on the family farm in rural Murray County where he attended Country School and eventually graduated from Walnut Grove High School. Roger farmed with his father after graduation. He married Shirley Joan Weidemann in 1955 and made their home on the family farm. Donna J. Kuhl of Fond du Lac, WI went to join Don on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was born to Roman and Arlene Hoffman in Sleepy Eye, MN on July 17, 1929. She married Donald "Don" Kuhl on June 22, 1949. "The Rushmore farm boy meets the city slicker at the drug store." Through their adventures, they built a beautiful life and family together. Donna loved being with her family, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She especially enjoyed family gatherings during holidays, weddings, and special events. Ruth was born to John and Lydia (Ewald) Schoepp on January 5th, 1931 in Golden Spike, Alberta, Canada. She was baptized by her grandfather Rev. Carol Loftin, 78, of Sacramento, CA, died peacefully at her daughter's residence on December 19, 2020, with family members and her dog Duke at her side. Carol was born to Frank and Rosemarie (Lenz) Recker on March 9, 1942 in the Ellsworth, MN hospital. She graduated from St. Mary's grade school and Ellsworth high school. She finished a licensed practical nurse program in Pierre, SD. She then went on to Presentation School of Nursing in Aberdeen and attained her license as a registered nurse.
