Roselitha "Rose" Dougherty, age 75, of Northfield, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Rose was born the daughter of Alfred and Deloris (Roeder) Odden on November 21, 1946, in Graceville, Minnesota. She was raised in rural Clinton, Minnesota and attended and graduated from high school. Rose worked various jobs throughout her life including a cook at a restaurant in Morris, bus driver, and cashier at BP gas station in Northfield. James Carlson, 78, was born in Sioux Falls, SD on July 29, 1943 to Jack and Ethel Carlson. He passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2021 in Ocala, FL of natural causes. Jim was raised in Glenwood, MN with his five wonderful brothers and sisters whom he loved dearly. He met his wife Kay (Joranger) when she they were in MN All State Choir in high school. The Rev. Jerry P. Hankins died on Monday, October 4, at the age of 87 at the Northfield Retirement Community. Jerry was born March 30, 1934, in Xenia, Ohio, to the Rev. Cecil C. "Hank" and Viola Hankins. He married Elizabeth Nash on August 9, 1958, in Baudette, MN. Jerry graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a BA in Geology and earned his Bachelor of Divinity degree at Andover Newton Theological Seminary in Newton, Massachusetts. Laura E Kolden, 89, of Rochester, Minnesota died in her home on August 15, 2021. Laura was born on February 24, 1932 to Alexander and Genowefa Torner in Vilno, Poland. The Torner family was forced to flee from Vilno at the outbreak of World War II, when Laura was seven years old, and they were refuges through the duration of the war and in the years thereafter as they tried to stay ahead of the bombing and battles. Unable to return home after the war, they immigrated to the United States, thanks to the sponsorship of the Alfred Holslin family of rural Alberta and Rev.
