John Edward McAlpin Jr. was born on October 17, 1944 to John E McAlpin Sr. and Anna May McAlpin (nee Zoesch) in Butternut, WI. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Norfolk, VA, then to Menasha, WI and then onto Key West, FL by age 7. This seems to be when he developed a lifelong love for Key Lime pies. They also lived briefly in Great Neck, NY, but by age 11, John's family had finally settled in Wautoma, WI. In his youth, he enjoyed boy scouts and working alongside his father in the family's soda pop bottling business. Carol J. Edwards, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, following a brief illness. Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald (Jerry) Edwards; her parents, Ralph and Susan Judd; her two sisters, Louise (Judd) Ball and Sharon Judd; and grandson, Alan Buettner. Charles A. Braun, age 89, of Wild Rose, formerly a long-time resident of Neshkoro, Wisconsin and Racine Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Rosemore Village. Charles was born on July 26, 1932, in Racine. He was the youngest of the five children of John and Tillie (Dedrich) Braun. His brothers John, Donald, Robert and sister Shirley O'Connor have all predeceased him. "Charlie" Braun, as he was known to everyone, was married to Barbara A.
