RACINE - Richard E. Purath, 87, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Burlington on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. Dick was born in Green Bay on February 23, 1933 to the late Elmer and Myrtle (nee, Trentlage) Purath. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On September 14, 1963, Dick married the love of his life, the former Suzanne M. Lom. He began his career in funeral service at the Coad Funeral Home in Green Bay before moving to Menominee, MI where he worked with the Kell Funeral Home. Mary B. Anderson, age 96, of Vero Beach, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020. She was born in Menominee, Michigan and moved to Vero Beach from Nashville, Tennessee. Mary is survived by her sons, Ron (Pat) of Summerville, South Carolina, Tom of Nashville, and Dan (Erin) of Nashville; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Ardis "Goose" Martindale (nee Rymer), age 88, died of renal failure on April 28, 2020. Goose was born and raised in the Town of Beaver. She graduated class valedictorian from Coleman High School in 1950 and attended vocational school in Marinette. Goose was employed at the 1st National Bank, met her husband Marvin in a bowling alley, and was married in June of 1955. The couple moved to Milwaukee, then built a house in Greenfield where they raised 3 children; one girl and two boys. When the youngest was twelve years old, Goose went back to work as a bookkeeper for M & I Bank where she worked until retirement.
