London, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 1, 2023, while at home surrounded by her family. Born in Sherman Mills, Maine, January 1st, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Carlton A. Grant and Mabel Parker York. Mrs. London is survived by her children, Richard Davis (Faith), Michael Bouchard, Michelle Smith (Otis), and Fred London (Cindy), her step-children, Gail St. Phillip, Dian Perkinson, and Saundra London; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Carletta Alice Pettengill Nevers passed away suddenly at her home in Hanover, NH, on Monday, December 5th, 2022. She was born on January 15th, 1936 in Houlton, Aroostook County, ME, the first child of Carl and Hilda (Stairs) Pettengill of Island Falls, ME. She first started working at a young age when she sold hot popcorn at the family-owned Island Falls Opera House. In the fall, with all the local school children, she would pick 60 to 65 barrels of potatoes a day in the area farms of The County. Alan Gilman Foster passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020. He was born an identical twin (Arlo) in Houlton, Maine, on June 12, 1937. Growing up Alan showed horses with his twin brother, Arlo. He was an accomplished horseman who enjoyed competing at horse shows and won many competitions. Alan served in the Army and attended the Culinary Institute of America at Yale University where he studied hotel management.
