Michael Miller, 73, of Pickford, MI, formerly of Algonac, died on May 26, 2022. He was born on January 29, 1949, in Mt. Clemens to parents Everrett and Carolyn (Meyer) Miller. Michael was an outdoorsman to say the least. He would literally spend 6 of 7 days a week either hunting or fishing. He loved it so much that he made a career out of it. Michael ran a charter boat company in West Palm Beach Florida with his wife Erika called Fish with ME. In addition to the charter boat, Michael owned and operated a machine shop in Romeo for many years. After a long and adventurous life, Marshall Kaplan Becker, "Marsh" known by his friends and family, passed away December 6, 2021. Marsh was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on December 25, 1934, to Walter and Clarice (Autheir) Becker. Marsh had one sister, Brenda, and one brother, Bruce. Early in Marsh's childhood, the family moved to North Platte, Nebraska. After graduation from high school, Marsh completed his studies at Denver University. Long time Meeker resident Jean Welder passed away while residing at the Walbridge Wing in Meeker, Colorado. Jean was born in Sault Ste Marie Michigan to William S. and Ethel M. Price, the middle of five children. She was a member of the Sault High School Choir and performed by invitation at the Atlantic City International Convention and Veterans Hospital in Washington D.C and President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Carroll Merlyn Goodridge, 88, husband of the late Donna Mae Clegg Goodridge, passed away peacefully Friday, December 4, 2020. Born in Plainfield, VT, a son of the late Euri Gilbert Goodridge and the late Beatrice May Spencer Goodridge, he was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed golfing, bowling, square dancing, round dancing, hiking, and music. Allan Wallace Dunkel, 58, of Petoskey, died June 8, 2020 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital. Allan was born on September 28, 1961, the son of Wallace "Wally" and Phyllis (Behling) Dunkel. He attended Resort Township for grade school and completed high school in Sault Ste. Marie. He was a member of the 1979 graduating class. Allan went on to study lumber grading in Tennessee where he graduated top of his class. Clarence Dean Rye, born February 7th, 1936, went to be with his Lord on April 16th, 2020. Dean was born to Hank and Marion Rye of Pickford, MI. He grew up with two sisters, Margaret and Sharyn, and a brother, Reginald. Dean loved his large extended family and fondly told countless stories about growing up in Pickford.
