Phil Nicolls Hutchinson, age 77, of Hagerstown, MD passed away peacefully on May 10, 2022 at Seaton Senior Living Center. He was born on January 12, 1945 in Harborton, VA to the late Raymond M. and Lillie C (Nicolls) Hutchinson. Phil was a Vietnam War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force. Phil was an avid tennis player and loved playing at the Tuscarora Tennis Club. Phil is survived by 3 sons, Raymond (Becky), Patrick (Paula) Michael (Jamie) and their families, and sister Jane Hutchinson Bennett (Gerard). Caramine Kellam, born January 23, 1941, passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2022. Until her last day, Caramine steadfastly and exuberantly lived out her life's motto: "I want to leave my corner of the world a little better than I found it." Caramine was born and lived most of her life on Virginia's Eastern Shore, following the examples of her parents, Polk and Amine Kellam. Rev. William McGuire Plonk, 95, died April 10, 2021 at King's Grant Retirement Community in Martinsville VA, where he lived for almost twenty years. Born in Franklin NC on August 19, 1925, Bill grew up in Spindale NC, Macon GA, Winston-Salem, and Charlotte, spending many summers on his grandmother's farm in Franklin. After graduating from RJ Reynolds High School, he served as an Army second lieutenant during WWII in Alabama and Alaska.
