Ruth Jeanne Couture Dumont was born in Auburn, Maine on October 23, 1934 and carried to heaven on September 11, 2021 at the age of 86. She graduated from St. Dominic's High School in Lewiston, Maine in 1952. She married Marcel B. Dumont 2 days after her 18th birthday and shared 62 years of marriage and had 5 children, 3 daughters and 2 sons. Ruth's pride and joy were her 5 children, 11 grand-children and many great grand-children. As a military spouse for 24 years, her life's work was raising her children around the world and across the United States. They retired in Lacey, Washington where she made her home for 42 years.
