He was born in the blue-collar town of Rock Island, Illinois, and was proud to have worked construction for Langman & Sons and Farmall, and for John Deere on the assembly line building tractors. Rose "Rosie" Marie O'Hara, 81, a resident of the Wesley House in Quitman, Texas, passed away, on April 16, 2022. Rosie was born May 23, 1940 in Neosho, Missouri, to James and Marie Wecker O'Hara. She was employed in Kansas City, Missouri working as a Secretary for Pritchard and Black and Veatch Engineering until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carol Ann Heald; brothers Phil O'Hara, Don O'Hara, and Harold O'Hara. Rose is survived by her brother, Jim O'hara; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Stone, Pauline Whitman, and Janice LaFramboise. Janet Nidy Stratton, 87, passed away Monday, April 4, 2022, at Hope Memory Care in Dacula. A native of Iowa, Ms. Stratton was a daughter of the late Carl W. Nidy and Hazel Ferril Nidy. She retired as Director of Continuing Education for the University of Missouri in Kansas City after 20 years of service. A resident of Georgia since 2000, Ms. Stratton raised Arabian horses and rode until age 82. She especially enjoyed horseback riding in the North Georgia Mountains with her family and friends. Dan was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, June 10, 1926, the eldest son of Daniel O., Sr., and Elisabeth Quinn Cain.
